How To Use VahanTag
Follow these simple steps to buy, activate, and install your VahanTag sticker.
How to Buy VahanTag
Visit vahantag.me
Open vahantag.me on your phone browser.
Login / Sign Up
Tap Login and sign in with your phone number. New users will be registered automatically.
Go to Dashboard
After login you'll land on your dashboard where you can see the Buy VahanTag option.
Place Your Order
Select the number of stickers, fill in your delivery address, and complete the payment.
Receive Your Sticker
Your VahanTag sticker will be delivered within 4–10 business days.
💡 Tip: Keep your delivery address accurate to avoid delays. You'll receive tracking updates via WhatsApp.
How to Activate VahanTag
Scan the QR Code
Use your phone camera to scan the QR code printed on your VahanTag sticker.
Enter Your Phone Number
You'll be taken to the activation page. Enter your phone number, this is where you'll receive alerts.
Enter Vehicle Number
Add your vehicle registration number (e.g., MH12AB1234) to link the sticker to your vehicle.
Add Emergency Contact
Enter an emergency contact number, this person will also be notified in urgent situations.
Save & Done!
Tap Save. Your VahanTag is now active. Anyone who scans it can reach you without seeing your number.
🛡️ Privacy: Your phone number is never shown to the person scanning. They can only send you a message through VahanTag.
How to Install & Maintain
Installation Steps
Clean the Surface
Wipe the glass area with a dry cloth. Make sure it's free of dust, oil, and moisture.
Peel the Backing
Carefully peel off the backing paper from the sticker. Avoid touching the adhesive side.
Stick on the Inside of the Glass
Place the sticker on the inside of the glass, facing outward so it's readable from outside. Press firmly from center outward to remove air bubbles.
Press & Hold
Hold for 10–15 seconds to ensure strong adhesion. Done!
Best Places to Stick
Place your VahanTag where it's easily scannable but doesn't block the driver's view.
✅ Front Windshield: Passenger Side, Bottom-Left Corner
Easily visible from outside. Does not obstruct the driver's line of sight.
✅ Rear Windshield: Any Corner (Not Blocking View)
Great for parking situations. People behind your car can quickly scan and reach you.
⚠️ Avoid These Spots
- Center of windshield (blocks driver's view)
- Driver's side of windshield
- Areas with heavy tint where QR may not scan properly
Care & Maintenance
Don't use abrasive cleaners or scrapers on or near the sticker.
Avoid washing the sticker area with water frequently. The sticker is waterproof but excessive water exposure can weaken adhesive over time.
If air bubbles appear, gently press them out toward the edges with a soft cloth.
The sticker is UV-resistant vinyl, it won't fade easily under sunlight.
💡 Pro Tip: Apply the sticker on a cool, dry day for best adhesion. Avoid applying in direct sunlight or rain.
